Electricity powers nearly every part of modern life, from lighting and transportation to communication, medicine, and technology. Yet many of the innovators who helped develop electrical systems and energy solutions have been overlooked or left out of traditional history lessons. Black inventors, engineers, and scientists have played a vital role in advancing electricity and energy technology, often while overcoming limited access to education, funding, and professional recognition.
